Is Ben-Hur gay?

In a first time William Wyler ‘s Ben-Hur is a movie dealing with the origins of christianity, telling the nativity of Jesus Christ. Morover you can see Ben-Hur as a manly movie, with many gladiator fights and chariot races.

But as Gore Vidal (Screenwriter of Ben-Hur) said, Ben-Hur is also a story of two gay lovers that are Ben-Hur and Messela, who couldn’t experience their relationships because of their   difference of  faith.
William Wyler was aware of this interpretation but he forbiden to tell Charleton Heston because he knew that Heston wouldn’t play a gay, which would have ruined the movie.
So this blog is not Wikileaks but i found some secret confessions which explains this argument, and I give you  the aforementioned document risking my life and my integrity.

  1. I love it that they duped CH into playing this role. He was such a prick on so many levels that it would make sense that he was oblivious to the history around it. That GV wrote the screenplay should have been enough to make him realize it...

Corrections: Christianity, gladiator fights, their relationships, he was forbidden to tell CH, which would have, some secret confessions which explains this argument, I give you.
